Veridian
III is one of the worlds in the
Veridian System, made famous in the
1994 movie, Star Trek:
Generations. This film brought
together the cast members from The
Original Series and The Next
Generation. Captain Jean-Luc Picard
meets Admiral James T. Kirk, and
together they save a planet. In the
process, Admiral Kirk loses his life
and the Enterprise D saucer section
crashes into the planet.
On closer look at our recreation of
Veridian III, you will notice some
space-time anomalies. On beaming
down, Admiral Kirk’s grave is in
front of you. The Enterprise D,
which was destroyed before Kirk’s
death, is seen above the planet. The
“Nexus“ energy ribbon, which
happened both before and after
certain events in the movie, is
planned for the sky over the launch
pad. Although these three things
could not take place at the same
time, we could not resist, putting
them all in the scene. |
