Why would anyone keep putrid, foul-smelling, stale bread in a petri dish of pond water for over a week? So that we can video record the bacteria now swarming in it! Recorded by Rishon on a SWIFT SW350T Trinocular Compound Microscope, using bright-field and dark-field microscopy. From water samples collected at Kingfisher Pond in Northstowe. |
